Let the season of silver bells, seasonal garland and twinkling lights begin! The holidays are a popular time in Ocean City, with lots of light shows and winter-themed events throughout the chilly months.
Ocean City Christmas Parade Dec. 1, 2018 Beginning at 11am, the 35th Annual Parade will march northbound in the southbound lanes to 120th St. where the judges will be waiting. They will review the bands and other parade participants in nine various categories, presenting the awards at the post-parade celebration at the Carousel Hotel. This celebration will include half-price ice skating, holiday music from a DJ, and photo opportunities with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Frank Sinatra Show Dec. 1, 2018 At 8 pm, Tony Sands Orchestra and his Big Band will perform at the Performing Arts Center at the Ocean City Convention Center. Tickets range from $35-$45.
Jingle Bell 5K Run/Walk Dec. 2, 2018 Get your running shoes on! The first Sunday will be the fifth annual Jingle Bell Race through the Winterfest of Lights. With your registration, you’ll get a long-sleeve race shirt, hot chocolate, cookies, and a ride through the light show in Northside Park.
Pizza with Santa Dec.5, 2018 Pizza and Santa… what more could you ask for!? Children are invited to attend this pizza party with Santa at Northside Park.Activities will include arts and crafts, a ride through the Winterfest of Lights, cookie decorating, and refreshments!
Winterfest of Lights Nov. 15-Dec. 31, 2018 Watch Ocean City illuminate as Northside Park transitions into the Winterfest of Lights. Along with over a million lights and displays, there is hot chocolate, shopping, a 50 ft Christmas Tree, and photos with Santa in the heated Winterfest Pavillion!
